Suites
Ship Trap Chateau has only 11 exclusive suites, 10 of which are located on floors 3-5. The third floor has 2 Basic Suites, 2 Luxury Suites, and 1 Presidential Suite. The fourth floor has 2 Luxury Suites and 2 Presidential Suites. The fifth floor is home to our Royale Suite. The Treehouse Suite is housed 1/4 mile away from the main chateau in the depths of the jungle. Every room has a bathroom, television, free Wi-Fi, and a porch such as the ones below (click on porch photo to see description). Contact us to reserve your room on the Reservations page at least 3 months in advance (5 for Royale) for the best chance at the suite of your choice.
The "Basic" suite. Includes a cable television, two spacious twin beds, pull out couch, full bath, hair dryer, Wi-Fi, and plenty of space. This is our most sunny room and is perfect for a family with two children. It is priced at $800 per night.
The "Luxury" suite. Includes cable television, 1 king-sized bed, regular couch, full bath, mini-fridge, hair dryer, free Wi-Fi, and plenty of storage space. Priced at $900 per night, this suite is large enough for 2 people.
The "Presidential" suite. Includes a cable television, 1 king-sized bed, a pull-out couch, a full bath with a jet tub, a refrigerator, a microwave, a hair dryer, toiletries, free Wi-Fi, and plenty of storage space. Priced at $1200 per night, this suite is large enough for 4 people.
The "Royale" suite. Located on the top floor (5th floor) of the Chateau, this suite is the only one of its kind. The suite includes all of the amenities of the Presidential suite, and more. The suite has a dining area and a full kitchen, plus 2 bedrooms that each have 2 king-sized beds. This is our most elite suite, so please act at least 5 months in advance to ensure your reservation. The suite is priced at $1500 a night, and has room for 6 people.
The "Treehouse" suite. This suite is the one and only treehouse on the island. The tree it was built in is the same tree that the skilled hunter Sanger Rainsford stayed in while visiting our island. This suite includes a cable television, a king-sized bed, lounge area, an outdoors swing, a porch overlooking the jungle, a full bath with a jet tub, a refrigerator, a microwave, a hair dryer, toiletries, free Wi-fi, and plenty of storage space. Also, room-service is free for this suite only, due to its exclusive location. Priced at $1500 a night, this room is large enough for 2 people.
